Enhancing Capacity of Georgian Farmers’ Association

We are working with the Georgian Farmers’ Association (GFA) to support the strengthening of its internal capacity, aiming to increase its membership base, financial sustainability and independence.

More specifically, we are assisting the GFA to develop a costing system for its paid services and payment scheme.

“Strengthening the organizational capacity of the Georgian Farmers’ Association to provide a variety of services will enable farmers in different parts of Georgia to benefit from better, more efficient and quality services tailored to their specific needs, which will contribute to further economic development,” said Tengo Sultanishvili, a researcher at PMC Research.

PMC Research is assessing the GFA’s service provision capacity, analyzing the supply and market prices of similar services to those provided by the GFA, and surveying the Association’s beneficiaries to ascertain the level of demand for its services. Moreover, PMC Research is developing a costing system for the GFA’s paid services, building payment schemes, and training GFA staff on relevant topics.
